Job summary

Northwell Health Department of Behavioral Health seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible Telepsychiatrists to join our team at our office in Manhattan, New York. Telepsychiatry enables rapid access to care with 24/7 support for ED and med/surg departments.

We offer 12-hour shifts for full-time, part-time Overnight options with differential, and academic appointment opportunities in a state-of-the-art telehealth service.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry and licensed in NYS.
• Experience with telepsychiatry and emergency psychiatry preferred.
• Proficient with EHR systems and remote patient management.

Responsibilities

• Provide telepsychiatry consultations to adult and pediatric ED/med-surg patients.
• Assess and manage patients across ages via telehealth.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health team to ensure 24/7 coverage.
