Job summary

Northwell Health Department of Behavioral Health seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible Telepsychiatrists to join our team at our office in Manhattan, New York. Telepsychiatry provides round-the-clock psychiatric evaluations via videoconferencing for ED and inpatient settings.

We offer a unique 24/7 telehealth service supported by Behavioral Health Counselor and clerical/technical staff, with academic appointments and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE and licensed in NYS.

Responsibilities

• Provide telepsychiatry consultations to adult and pediatric patients via videoconferencing.
• Assess ED and CL patients across departments using two-way audiovisual technology.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Counselor and support staff to ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Participate in academically oriented setting with teaching and leadership opportunities.
