Job summary
Thriveworks in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide telemedicine and in-person care. The role includes assessing and treating clients aged 14+, with at least one day in the office weekly.
NPs will prescribe medications as needed and collaborate on comprehensive care plans within Thriveworks guidelines. Applicants must be licensed in the practicing state, hold PMHNP board certification, and possess a Master's in Nursing with prescriptive
Qualifications
- Licensed PMHNP with board certification is required.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority.
- 1 year of psychiatry experience is required.
- Three years of experience is a plus.
- Must be licensed and live in the practicing state.
- Complete in-house ADHD treatment standards training with a certification exam.
Responsibilities
- Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
- Treat clients aged 14 and up.
- Go into the office at least 1 day per week.
- Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
- Create and collaborate on care plans.
- Complete and administer necessary paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff about clients and programs.
