Job summary

TelevisaUnivision in Miami, FL is seeking a Teleprompter Operator for a part-time role to support live broadcasts. You will operate the Cue Script teleprompter, load scripts, and coordinate with the production team.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's in Television Production or equivalent, bi-lingual English/Spanish, and 1–2 years of live studio experience; you must work a flexible schedule including nights and holidays. Attention to detail and calm under pressure are essential.

• Working knowledge of computers and Windows operating systems.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish).
• 1-2 years of experience with live studio broadcast.
• Comfortable with all aspects of the production.
• Perform well under pressure and breaking news situations.
• Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
• On-call availability and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Production Operations at Televisa Univision is looking for a Teleprompter Operator to join our team!

Responsibilities include operating a Teleprompter and working closely with the production staff. The Teleprompter will report to the Production Manager.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

• Operate Cue Script teleprompter by loading and running the script while following the talent
• Clean and inspect teleprompter hardware including monitor and reflective glass prior to broadcast
• Change size and color of text
• Deliver scripts to set
• Check closed captioning of recorded or live broadcast if necessary
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Additionally, candidate may be required to work on site for extended periods of time to provide coverage in special circumstances, such as, during tropical storm/hurricane
