Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services in Northern Virginia is seeking a Dedicated Phone Installation Technician to support our Network Solutions Division. The role involves installing and troubleshooting telephones, cabling, and voice equipment for government clients.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of LAN and telephony experience, strong cabling knowledge, and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Local travel to customer sites is expected on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of LAN infrastructure implementation experience.
• 2+ years installing and troubleshooting telephone instruments and media gateways.
• Experience with 110 type cross connections, RJ45 panels, fiber terminations.
• Education: High School diploma with 6+ years experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's with fewer years.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality installations and troubleshooting of telephones and voice systems.
• Dress cabling to industry and customer standards.
• Mount voice and network equipment, and manage power and data cabling.
• Conduct surveys to collect or validate information for engineering or VSIT personnel.
• Local travel between customer buildings as required.
