Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a night shift assignment in Wichita, KS. The role runs 12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with four shifts per week and every other weekend. You may float to additional units on campus or within Wichita, and local travel rules apply.

Requirements include Kansas or compact licensure, 12 months of RN experience with 2 years in Telemetry, and Cerner experience preferred. Vaccination and facility-specific onboarding are required.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials:A driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; passing score of at least 80% with only two attempts permitted.Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests:Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.

Unit Details:Uses OneChart EHR.

Shift & Scheduling:Every other weekend.No call.

Floating Requirements:May have to float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita.
