Job summary

Trusted Health seeks an experienced travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Kansas with a night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and 12-hour shifts. Travel or local options are available; candidates living within 60 miles are considered local.

Required: KS license or compact license, 12 months MS/Telemetry experience (2 years total in MS/Telemetry), BLS, NIHSS, MAB, and Cerner preferred. May float to other units; Ascension onboarding requirements apply.

Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Required Credentials:Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; a passing score of at least 80% is required, with only two attempts permitted.Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; a minimum score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization is required; only 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests:Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details:Uses OneChart.

Shift & Scheduling:Every other weekend.No call.

Floating Requirements:May have to float to like units on the same campus or to another campus within Wichita.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
