Shift:

6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:Must have 2-3 years of experience in the specialty.Nurses must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips.

Unit Details:

Patient population includes stroke, TIA, seizure, TBI, and mixed medical-telemetry patients.The unit uses GE Apex telemetry boxes and central telemetry monitoring.Common titratable or set-rate drips include heparin, amiodarone, and Cardizem, along with DKA set-rate protocols.Respiratory support includes BiPAP, CPAP, and HFNC; no ventilators.

Shift & Scheduling:

Schedules are made about 3 weeks in advance.Self-scheduling is available by seniority.Shift trades are available.Day shifts require 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule, Saturday/Sunday.Holiday work follows the permanent staff rotation.No call.

Floating Requirements:

First to float.Floats to IMCU (2West) or Med/Surg departments.

Facility holidays:

11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months:

Driver’s license required for submission
