Job summary

Experience

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Unit Details:Adult medical-surgical unit.Day shift patient ratio: 1:4-6.Night shift patient ratio: 1:5-7.Common unit procedures include IV fluids, tube feeds, PEG feedings, and IV antibiotics.

Shift & Scheduling:Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts a pay period.

Floating Requirements:Floats occasionally to other medical-surgical units and the ED holding pod.
