Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM assignment in Kentucky. Candidates must have 2 years of telemetry and 2 years of acute care, plus a Kentucky or compact license. BLS/ACLS required. Floating to additional units may be needed; travel only, local not allowed.

The role is auto-offer, with scheduling coordinated with the facility manager. RN/12-hour shifts, 4:1 patient ratios typical, driver’s license required.

3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details

Preferred Skills/Experience:Knowledge of chest tubes and dysrhythmia training preferred.

Required Credentials

Crisis Prevention Institute Blue Card (CPI Blue Card) is required for submission.

Unit Details

Patient ratios are 4:1 with cath recovery, 6:1 maximum ratio, and may at times be stretched to 7:1.PCTs are available on day and night shifts, and unit clerks are available on day shift.Equipment includes remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps.Procedures include chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis.

Shift & Scheduling

Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements

Agency staff float first and may float to Ortho/Med-Surg.
