Trusted Health in Iowa is seeking a skilled travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in an adult and geriatric cardiology unit. The role includes day shifts (12-hour), floating to multiple units, and post-procedure care such as pacemakers and ablations. Iowa licensed or compact-licensed candidates only may apply.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, recording status, and responding promptly, with labs due within 48 hours of signing. Travel and local candidates welcome.

Qualifications

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience.
• 6 months of Epic experience is required.
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission).

Responsabilités

• Monitor, record, and respond to patients' status across units.
• Float to multiple units as needed and support workflow.
• Assist with post-procedure care including pacemakers, ablations, and cardiac caths.
• Complete labs within 48 hours of signing and manage acute cardiac care.
• Every third weekend shift is required.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Shift & Scheduling:Every third weekend is required.

Unit Details:Adult and geriatric patient population.Post-procedure care includes pacemakers, ablations, and cardiac catheterizations.The unit uses most cardiac drips/IV medications.Monitoring, recording, and responding to patients' clinical status.Assisting with hyperacute and acute treatment while monitoring and managing neurological status.Supporting and encouraging rehabilitation.The unit cares for patients with NSTEMI/STEMI, CHF, atrial fibrillation/flutter, seizures, stroke, heart attack, angina, and heart failure.

10 days maximum time off
