Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Nashville is seeking a Telemetry Technician to join our inpatient post-ICU team in Nashville, TN. This part-time role offers 2 days per week with day and night shifts available, focusing on monitoring patients, alarm management, and accurate rhythm interpretations under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include monitoring EKGs, validating strip interpretations with RN, and ensuring timely responses to alarms.

Qualifications

• Complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass required competencies on education platform.
• Pass other tests/competencies as required by Select Medical.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and respond to alarms promptly.
• Verify correct identification of basic and lethal rhythms and artifact.
• Interpret EKGs: rate, rhythm, PRI, QRS, QTc, ST changes.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
