Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Telemetry Technician for full-time night shifts. The role focuses on telemetry monitoring to aid diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions and requires ECG interpretation coursework and CPR/BLS certification.

• Successful completion of ECG interpretation coursework.
• CPR – Basic Life Support certification or training.

Responsabilidades

• Attaches electrode lead lines to proper body areas based on type of test ordered.
• Prepares skin and surroundings to ensure valid results.
• Obtains and documents ECG readings as directed.
• Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
• Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.
• Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
• Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
• Maintains ECG equipment and supplies.
