Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date and pass required competencies.

Responsibilities

• Continuously watch monitors and respond to alarms promptly and appropriately.
• Perform EKG interpretations: rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QTc, ST segment, waveform alterations, and rhythm.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
