Responsibilities

• Monitor patient alarms continuously and respond promptly.
• Verify identification of rhythms including basic, lethal, artifact; maintain EKG alarms.
• Interpret EKG rhythms: rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QT, ST segments.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
