Select Specialty Hospital-Downriver is hiring a Telemetry Technician in Wyandotte, MI. The role involves monitoring patient alarms, verifying rhythm identifications, and ensuring timely responses on a 7a-7p shift schedule.

You will perform EKG interpretations (rate, PRI, QRS, QTc, ST), coordinate with RNs for strip validations, and support a comprehensive telemetry program with orientation, continued education, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days.
• Required competencies on education platform within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Continuously watching monitors and responding to alarms promptly.
• Completing EKG interpretations including rate, PRI, QRS, QTc, ST segment, and rhythm interpretation.
• Ensuring strip interpretations are validated by RN.
