Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Richmond is seeking a Telemetry Technician to monitor patient rhythms, respond to alarms, and ensure accurate EKG interpretations under RN supervision. This full-time day shift role is based in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass required competencies on education platform as required by Select Medical.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to alarms, verify identification of rhythms and artifacts.
• Observe all monitors and respond promptly to alarms.
• Perform EKG interpretations: rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QT, ST, rhythm.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
