Job summary

Inspira Health seeks a non-licensed monitor tech to continuously observe and interpret patients’ cardiac rhythms (EKG/ECG). You will ensure timely alerts and responses to alarms, and maintain accurate data reporting.

The role supports clerical and communication tasks on the nursing unit while adhering to unit and health system policies. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma, with preferred monitor tech experience and a Dysrhythmia course.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous monitor tech experience preferred.
• Certified Telemetry Technician certification preferred.
• Successful Dysrhythmia course completion required.
• Able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Continuously observe and interpret patients’ cardiac rhythms (EKG/ECG).
• Ensure appropriate and timely alerts/responses to alarms.
• Maintain and report data in a timely manner.
• Assist in clerical and communication functions on the nursing unit.
