HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL seeks a Telemetry Technician for the Cardiology unit. You will observe telemetry monitors and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure patient safety during night shifts, working 7pm-7am for 36 hours per week.

• 16 hours of 12-lead EKG training within 3 months of hire - Required

Pay Range: $17.00 - $23.80 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. HSHS St. John's Hospital is seeking a Telemetry Technician to join our Cardiology unit. Telemetry Technicians observe telemetry monitors and work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure consistent patient safety. Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED- Required
• 1 year of Telemetry experience preferred
• 2 years of experience in the medical field preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Certification in cardiac technology by the American Cardiology Association- Preferred
• Successfully complete basic EKG training at the first offering and 16 hours of 12-lead EKG training within 3 months of hire-Required
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36
