Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is hiring for a Monitor Room role in Pensacola, FL. You will monitor live cardiac patterns on telemetric devices, identify subtle changes in real-time, and promptly forward findings to nurses and attending physicians to support rapid, life-saving interventions.

This full-time day shift (3x12s, 7 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) emphasizes accuracy, equipment maintenance, and supply management.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider preferred; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree.
• Prior telemetry / cardiac monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live cardiac patterns on telemetric devices to identify and track subtle changes in real-time.
• Track and record irregular rhythms or shifts in heartbeat activity to maintain precise, high-quality data.
• Forward cardiac changes immediately to nurses and attending physicians for rapid analysis and interventions.
• Maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and manage supply inventory to keep systems ready for use.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
