Schedule: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts
Our Critical Care Unit is part of a dynamic, teaching hospital environment that prioritizes clinical excellence and continuous learning. As a Chest Pain Center-accredited and Primary Stroke Center, we provide advanced, evidence-based care to high-acuity patients. Our integrated Cardiac Rehabilitation Program supports recovery beyond the bedside, while ongoing critical care education and specialized classes empower staff to expand their knowledge, sharpen skills, and grow professionally within a collaborative, patient-focused team.
North Alabama Medical Center is a 263 bed facility that offers the community's only open heart surgery site, a complete line of women's and children's services and a complete line of medical and imaging services. North Alabama Medical Center is a Certified Chest Pain center with a team of cardiologists available 24/7 and is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center of Excellence by the American Heart/American Stroke Association. North Alabama Medical Center's 24-hour emergency department serves as the primary referral center for major trauma cases in Northwest Alabama.
