Job summary

Providence Little Company Of Mary San Pedro Hospital seeks a Unit Secretary/Telemetry Technician to support the nursing unit with clerical tasks and telemetry rhythm observation. You will document and report patient rhythms while coordinating with clinical staff to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates will have a dysrhythmia class, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of clerical/ward clerk training or experience; on-hire training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Dysrhythmia class and passes exam within six months of hire.
• National Provider BLS certification upon hire.
• 6 months general clerical/ward clerk training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties of the nursing unit and maintain patient records.
• Observe, document, and report cardiac rhythms of patients on Telemetry.
