Job summary

Telemetry Technician – Trinity Health Oakland is seeking a part-time, day shift professional to monitor cardiac rhythms and provide leadership in telemetry monitoring. The role is based at Trinity Health Oakland, Michigan, with a day shift and part-time schedule.

The position collaborates with nursing leadership to standardize arrhythmia management and participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop clinical standards of care for monitored patients, while promoting excellent customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of a Cardiac Monitoring program or CCT/CRAT certification, or 2 years of related experience in lieu of certification.
• Preferred: State of Michigan Paramedic license.

What You Will Need

Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• One of the following:
  • Completion of a Cardiac Monitoring program.
  • Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) through CCI.
  • OR 2 years of related experience in lieu of certification.
• Preferred: State of Michigan Paramedic license.
