Job summary

Trinity Health Oakland in Pontiac, MI seeks a Telemetry Technician to support nursing staff with accurate cardiac monitoring and patient care. You will monitor rhythms, provide leadership in telemetry activities, and collaborate to standardize arrhythmia management and testing.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, BLS within 30 days, and a Cardiac Monitoring program or CCT/CRAT, or 2 years of related experience. Michigan paramedic license preferred.

Telemetry Technician – Trinity Health Oakland (Pontiac, MI)

Full-Time/Nights

7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

What You Will Do

As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a vital role in patient care by supporting nursing staff and ensuring accurate cardiac monitoring. Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and telemetry for patients.
• Providing leadership and professional support in telemetry monitoring activities.
• Collaborating with nursing leadership to standardize arrhythmia management and non-invasive cardiology testing.
• Participating in multidisciplinary teams to design and implement clinical standards of care for monitored patients.
• Promoting exceptional customer service and organizational values.

What You Will Need

Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire and one of the following:
• Completion of a Cardiac Monitoring program, or
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) through CCI.
• OR 2 years of related experience in lieu of certification
• Preferred: State of Michigan Paramedic license.
