Job summary

Amazon in Redmond is seeking an Software Engineer for the CDH team to build telemetry systems that feed Kuiper satellites. You will own design and operation of telemetry services end to end and write production C++ code, solving scaling and reliability challenges for thousands of devices.

You will work hands-on with mentoring responsibilities, deliver complex features independently, and collaborate across teams to ensure observability and resilience of critical telemetry pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered software with C++, Java, C#, or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, implementation, and operation of telemetry services and agents end to end.
• Write production C++ and/or other systems/cloud code and drive technical decisions.
• Deliver complex features independently and mentor junior engineers through design and code review.
