Job summary

Allegheny General Hospital’s 6C Telemetry Unit seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to lead professional nursing care for medical telemetry and general medicine patients on a 30-bed unit. You’ll coordinate assessment, planning, and evaluation to ensure safe transitions from hospital to home.

This full-time role requires PA RN licensure (eNLC acceptable), a BSN preferred, and prior supervisory experience. You will mentor staff, optimize staffing, ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or relevant experience.
• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Willingness to meet background checks and CPR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Directs and provides professional nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Oversees data related to quality and satisfaction measures.
• Acts as clinical expert and mentors staff; may supervise.
• Uses nursing process to coordinate patient care for age appropriate populations.
• Ensures appropriate staffing levels and mix to support operations.
