Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Tele RN role on the 7 Tower cardiac telemetry unit in Chicago, IL. The position emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and high-quality, patient-centered care for patients with arrhythmias, heart failure, stroke, and post-surgical recovery.

You will collaborate with physicians, social workers, and case management to coordinate care and ensure safe discharge planning, while adhering to established standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and strong communication.
