Job summary

Hemet Global Medical Center in Menifee, CA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join a telemetry team on 12-hour day shifts, per diem. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care in acute and non-acute settings, supporting physicians and coordinating care plans.

The ideal candidate has an ADN with CA RN licensure and BLS; BSN is preferred. Units vary by patient needs and ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or completion of an accredited RN program required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license issued by the State of California – Required; BLS – Required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, Basic Arrhythmia, and/or Fetal Heart Monitoring may be required based on unit assignment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care based on hospital policies and evidence-based practices.
• Monitor patient progress and document findings in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor responses.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate nursing interventions and critical judgment.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, in-service education, and staff training.
• Float or be assigned to units based on patient care needs.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program

BSN preferred

Registered Nurse (RN) license – California

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS, PALS, NRP, Basic Arrhythmia, and/or Fetal Heart Monitoring
