Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license issued by the State of California – required.
• BLS – required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, Basic Arrhythmia, and/or Fetal Heart Monitoring may be required depending on unit assignment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care per hospital policies and evidence-based practices.
• Monitor patient progress and document findings in EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor responses.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate nursing interventions and judgment.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and staff training.
• Float to units based on patient care needs.
