Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking an Registered Nurse to deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with the healthcare team to uphold professional standards. The role directs, coordinates and delegates activities to foster patient/family centered care, in a 4 S Telemetry unit.

The nurse will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate responses while ensuring quality and patient satisfaction; weekend and holiday rotations apply in a part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC or Canadian equivalent.
• Must be valid at least 60 days beyond start date.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
