Job summary

NorthWest EMS seeks a Graduate Nurse to provide professional nursing care in a part-time capacity, with day/evening shifts, weekends and holidays as needed, under supervision and in alignment with the Nurse Practice Act.

The candidate must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold PA licensure (with any required multi-state licensure). BCLS and ACLS must be obtained within specified periods, and all required clearances completed within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania nursing licensure; other state licensure as required.
• PA temporary practice permit for GN required.
• Within six months of hire, licensing examination must be completed.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required; ACLS within 6 months.
• Clearances per HR-106 to be completed within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care under the Nurse Practice Act.
