Job summary

Heritage Valley Beaver is seeking a Graduate Nurse for a part-time role with one 12-hour and one 8-hour shift per week. The position involves day/evening coverage, weekends, and holidays under the supervision of an experienced RN.

Requirements include PA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and successful completion of required clearances within 90 days of hire. Two years of telemetry or acute care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure as RN; other state licensure as required.
• A valid Pennsylvania temporary practice permit for GN.
• Within six months of hire, graduate nurse must complete licensing examination.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6-month introductory period.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances within 90 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and practice under Nurse Practice Act.
• Care for patients with supervision from experienced RN.
• Collaborate with health care team to develop and implement care plans.
