Job summary

AdventHealth Apopka is seeking an RN for full-time night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) on a 36-hour weekly schedule. The campus emphasizes comprehensive patient care, clinical ladder potential, and a strong team environment.

Eligible clinicians may earn salary increases up to 20% through the Clinical Ladder Program based on experience and advancement criteria. Florida background screening applies; APopka facility offers a range of services and strong patient-family support.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse license is required.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Florida licensure or eligibility to practice nursing.
Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
Fluent in English (read, write, and speak).

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments across physiological and psychosocial domains.
Develop and revise individualized care plans per standards of care.
Administer medications and treatments safely per orders.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
Coordinate care with medical staff to ensure quality and continuity.
Document care activities accurately in the medical record.
Ensure infection control and safety compliance; participate in performance improvement.
Provide emotional support and supervise care team when needed.
