Job summary

Gifted Healthcare is seeking Telemetry RNs to consult with the health care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans for telemetry patients.

RNs monitor heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, oxygen levels, and ECG data using dedicated telemetry equipment.

Schedule: 3x12 nights; responsibilities include medication administration, equipment preparation, and rapid reporting of any abnormal telemetry readings.

Responsibilities

• Tele RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications and report an adverse reaction to medications in accordance with policies
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team member
• Monitor specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays
• Shift: 3x12 Nights
