Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Medicine telemetry unit in Columbia, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate care for assigned patients during 12-hour shifts (7:00 am–7:30 pm) on a 36-hour weekly schedule. An ADN is required; BSN preferred, with RN licensure and Basic CPR on hire and at least six months of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred, must matriculate into BSN program if ADN.
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required).
• CPR - Basic CPR Upon Hire (Required).
• Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for assigned patients on a shift to promote clinical outcomes.
• Provide direction to other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Promote evidence-based practice and adhere to nursing process policies and protocols.
