Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in California.
• BLS certification current upon hire; maintain.
• ACLS certification current within 30 days of hire; maintain.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred; RN-BC not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within Telemetry Unit scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in clinical condition and test results; respond quickly to changes.
