Job summary

Required: graduation from an accredited nursing program and Missouri RN licensure (or compact licensure), with BLS; ACLS/NIHSS certifications preferred. One year of experience is preferred, often in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Missouri or Compact Licensure.
• GN licensure within 90 days of graduation, if applicable.
• BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Administers medications and conducts nursing interventions.
• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Documents care activities and quality monitoring items.
• Communicates patient information to physicians and health care team.
• Delegates appropriately while maintaining teamwork and accountability.
