Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit at Advocate South Suburban Hospital. The selected candidate will work 7p-7a, 24 hours per week, and participate in a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based nursing care.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, planning and evaluating care, and ensuring accurate electronic health record documentation. Candidates must have an RN license and BLS, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state or appropriate state privileges.
• BLS certification and ongoing professional development as required.
• Telehealth/telemetry nursing competency may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and patient records.
