Job summary

Alton Memorial Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, seeks registered nurses for its telemetry unit on days, offering two 12‑hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Open to ADN, BSN, and MSN candidates, with up to a $7,500 sign‑on for eligible external nurses, shift differentials, and strong benefits including PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree.
• RN license required.
• Experience in nursing less than 2 years.
• Open to ADN, BSN, and MSN candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural and population-specific needs.
• Develop, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver.
• Promotes respect, equity and empathy in interactions with diverse and vulnerable populations through care delivery.
• Demonstrates ongoing advancement of nursing practice and quality improvement activities.
• Evaluates changes in patient condition and communicates updates to the interprofessional team and family.
