Job summary

Alton Memorial Hospital in Illinois is hiring registered nurses for the Telemetry unit. The role welcomes ADN, BSN and MSN candidates, with a day-shift weekend option (two 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM) and a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 for eligible external applicants.

Applicants will provide direct patient care, participate in care planning, and engage in a mentorship‑driven BJC RN Career Ladder. Benefits include PTO from day one and parental leave within a supportive, community‑based setting.

Qualifications

• RN license in Illinois.
• Open to ADN, BSN, MSN candidates.
• Telemetry unit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Participates in safety, quality and regulatory compliance efforts; engages in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents plans of care with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Assesses patients’ physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs.
