Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee patient care in telemetry and medical-surgical units. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of true telemetry RN experience, a valid RN license, and the ability to work full-time days.

A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates. You will care for strokes, chest pain, and telemetry patients with patient ratios of 1:4–5, within a 26-bed 2 South and 4–10 bed 2

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of true telemetry RN experience.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Texas or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care using a professional practice model.
• Assess patients, recognize health issues, and create care plans.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on care needs.
• delegate tasks based on patient condition and team competencies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement care plans.
• Prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care.
