Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse - Telemetry at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. You will deliver evidence-based nursing care and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced unit.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BSN in progress preferred, 6 months nursing experience, BLS/CPR within 60 days, and telemetry/ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active NJ nursing license.
• BSN in progress or commitment to obtain within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum of 6 months nursing experience or participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Telemetry certification and ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based standards.
• Communicate patient status and plans with the care team.
• Administer medications with barcode and documentation technologies.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations electronically.
• Provide patient and family-centered education.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning for safe transitions.

Education

Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license

BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
