Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN in progress and/or plan to acquire within three years.
• 1 year of med/surg telemetry nursing experience.
• Current New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per evidence-based standards.
• Communicate patient status and care plans with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document patient assessments, plans, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
• Educate patients and families to optimize health and wellness.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary discharge planning for safe transitions.
