Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse - Telemetry for Jersey Shore University Medical Center, located in Neptune, NJ. Ideal candidates hold a NJ RN license, BLS/CPR, and are pursuing a BSN with general telemetry experience; ACLS and telemetry certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Minimum of 6 months nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• Telemetry certification and ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
• Provide patient and family-centered education for health optimization and disease management.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary discharging of patients for safe transitions in care.
