Job summary

Trinity Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float Team, Telemetry at St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County, PA. This full-time role covers the 12-hour day shift (7am-7:30pm) in a Telemetry/Float Team unit with a focus on direct and indirect patient care.

Responsibilities include patient education, accurate documentation, interprofessional communication, and adherence to infection control standards. Requires BSN, PA RN license, BLS, and 3 years ICU experience.

Qualifications

• BSN required from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License
• AHA BLS certification required.
• 3 years of experience in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs, readiness to learn and identifies barriers to learning, incorporating education into daily activities.
• Documents admission assessment, plan, interventions and medication use; monitor outcomes.
• Utilizes information systems to enhance communication and document patient status changes.
• Communicates transfer of patient responsibility at bedside and during interprofessional rounds.
• Recognizes special patient needs and individualizes care; reports abuse when needed.
• Includes pain management and supportive care in the plan of care.
• Adheres to infection control standards and maintains a safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
