Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical Telemetry at Highland Park Hospital. The role covers day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm with rotating weekends, totaling 36 hours per week.

You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, follow the nursing process, and guide licensed and unlicensed staff to deliver comprehensive patient care while coordinating with the healthcare team for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR Certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Prior nursing experience or CNA experience if new graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
