Qualifications

• NJ or multi-state RN license required or in progress.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN/MSN preferred.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Specialty certification and IV certification preferred; arrhythmia recognition within 6 months.
• New graduates may attend onsite Nursing Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care, education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Perform individualized client-centered assessments and document data prioritizing patient needs.
• Develop and implement an individualized plan of care with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications using BCMA and monitor cardiac rhythms per policy.
• Recognize deterioration and report to MD within one hour; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance; discharge instructions and follow-up.
• Precept new nurses and assist with bedside interventional procedures.
