Sharp HealthCare in Oceanside, CA seeks a Telemetry Registered Nurse (CN II) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for telemetry patients. The role requires RN licensure in California, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with experience in telemetry or intermediate care. The unit operates under a CNA CBA.

The RN will monitor patients with cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and develop individualized care plans while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing with required RN licensure (CA)
• Two years telemetry or intermediate care RN experience (BSN optional)
• AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Transitional RN Program: certificate within 6 months of hire/transfer
• ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required for Progressive Care Unit
• PCCN or CCRN preferred

Aufgaben

• Monitor patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Assess and respond to acute changes in cardiac rhythms and neurological status.
• Administer medications, including non-titratable drips, and monitor effects.
• Develop and implement care plans for cardiac/neurological conditions.
• Document care accurately in the EHR.
• Provide preceptorship and mentorship to new grads and new hires.
• Respond to cardiac emergencies with advanced clinical skills.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
