Shift options include day, night, and mid shifts, with full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available. The role emphasizes teamwork with physicians, precise documentation, and patient education on heart health.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year of cardiac telemetry or related cardiac care preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications per American Heart Association.
• Proficient in EKG rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythm and vitals, identifying distress or abnormal patterns.
• Administer medications and interventions per the care plan.
• Collaborate with providers to adjust the plan based on cardiac status.
• Educate patients and families on heart health and home care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient condition and progress.
