Job summary

Bayonne University Hospital in Bayonne, NJ is seeking an RN-Telemetry 2R for a full-time Day shift to deliver nursing care to adult geriatric patients and monitor cardiac rhythms in the telemetry unit.

Required: Associate Degree in Nursing; valid NJ RN license; BLS (AHA) certification. 0–1 year of relevant experience required, 2–4 years preferred. On-site with rotational weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• RN requires Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
• NJ RN license valid required.
• BLS -AHA certification required.
• 0-1 relevant work experience; 2-4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Able to initiate and deliver nursing care to adult geriatric patients.
• Interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias and administration of appropriate therapy as ordered by the physician.
• Care of the patient requiring observation post cardiac monitoring and possible treatment of arrhythmias.
